doesnt want to define information

resists both continuum/dichotomy of consciousness why not continuum???

Haugeland original vs derivative intentionality

Descartes Error + meta-management

quickfire alarms watching faster than deliberative + meta-management /span> basic emotions (e.g. fear, infatuation)

types of agents/emotions/minds etc. with different architectures

consciousness more than just visual analysis, but also likes/dislikes, plus anything else in my inner life well, what else is there?

why does consciousness require reflectivity + reactivity?

the reactive sys adds something

he doesnt think embodiment is necessary for a deliberatively non-reactive maths program

Harold Cohen Aaron (visual compositions)

Edinburgh PhD thesis a program that makes up jokes

but what would it be for a computer to actually find something funny?

Questions

the difference between minds and other virtual machines is the explanatory gap though???

what does it mean to say that organisms can select and initiate rather than just resultants begs the question??? reactive vs agent???

= the ability to acquire, process + use information

difference between deliberative and meta-management???

do we need consciousness to do the high level intelligent behaviour he talks about???

what more is there to a computer finding something funny than being able to identify/produce humour, and maybe for there to be some sort of positive reward involved perhaps???
